3AM in Austin, Texas

Republicans just beat the shit out democrats in the mid-terms. John Stewart did a whole week in the city based on the rumor that great Red Texas may be on the brink of Blue. Yeah, that didn't happen.

I have a writer's conference scheduled tomorrow in San Antonio. Blogalicious comes to Texas in 2014 and my spot was graciously sponsored by blackandmarriedwithkids.com. Crazy.

I haven't been putting thought to paper for very long, but here I am, launching a new site I'm starting with my wife at 3am, after two earlier conference calls, one of which was launching a new distributor in Cleveland, OH, and writing two new pieces, because this is what the fuck you have to do sometimes. No one else is going to put in the work.

My son still managed to wake up at 2am to take a massive deuce. Wiping toddler ass at 2:30 am will ground you quick fast and in a hurry.

I'm drinking wine. I burned one.

I need some damn sleep though.

Listening to Logic's new Under Pressure album on repeat. It's a modern masterpiece. And he knows it. Listen to the way he timestamps everything - or how he has the album's production facts orated. He's documenting growth.

Nicki is officially "On the Map."

If you don't know what The Map is, I'll write about it later.

I hope you come back.
